Man murders younger brother

Chandigarh: A 44-year old driver murdered his younger brother at his house in Mauli near Manimajra in Chandigarh on Wednesday night. Deceased identified as Ranjeet Singh. Singh was 23-year old an said to be in addiction of drugs. Accused Malkit Singh has been arrested and the sharp edged weapon was recovered from his possession.
Police officials said Malkit, who is a driver, was upset with the victim, who frequently demanding money from just to spend on the drugs.Police sources said prio before stabbing his younger brother, Malkit had attacked the victim with a baseball bat. Accused will be produced in a local court for his police custody. Inspector Baldev Singh said accused driver was under the influence of alcohol when he committed the crime. A case of murder was registered.
